C320 How to Find and Clean a MAF Sensor??

I would like to know where on my (2001) C320 the MAF sensor is?

I was told it could be cleaned if dirty instead of faulty?

Is it and easy, quick job to remove and clean??

Any help, advice, pictures or guidance much appreciated.

anybody know where to find the maf part number?

should be stamped into the housing, maybe on the underside where the plug attaches so you wouldn't see it without removing I'll have a gander at mine a.m.

Just checked my spare & they may all vary but on mine the merc. part# is easy to spot without removal though you may need a torch & magnifyer! There's usually a bar code sticker(around 8 oclock looking from the front of the car) & the number you need will be preceeded with the merc star symbol then e.g.111 094 0148 Hope this helps
