C320 2000 X Reg
Hi everyone

I have just part exchanged my E230 for a C320 elegance X reg 2000 Metallic Silver.
It is fully loaded with Comand / Black leather / parking sensors /folding mirrors/Sun roof / Electric seats & steering wheel/ plus lots of other goodies.
Brillant car with only 40000 miles on the clock and has amazing paint work & full MB service history
It seems like a sports car compared with the E230.
Took a few days to read the manuals and understand all the functions and check everything works OK. I am pleased to say that everything is working fine.
The problem I have is that it has Nokia Bluetooth fitted and I have a Nokia 6310i which fitted in the cradle of the E230 after much seaching on this site and the net the only way I can pair the phone to carkit is to have the code
from the nokia control unit. which I am not sure how to get to, I have a small
speaker installed on the side of passenger footwell with the wire running behind glovebox. Any help please on how to get to control box.

Best regards

Hi,
The codes are normally just 4 digits and I am pretty sure it won't actually be on the control box.
Normally the default codes are quite simple combinations e.g. 0000, 1234.
I have a Nokia Bluetooth headpiece and the pairing code for that is 0000.
Give these combinations a go, keep your fingers crossed and see if you get lucky!

Many thanks for your info.
Just to make the situation clearer. The previous owner had a bluetooth phone and paired her phone to it but dosn't have the code. Have tried all the codes 0000 1234 etc
but it dosn't work. Searching the net have found out the pass code is on the original packaging and is the last four digits of the serial number on the control unit. the small speaker is part of the seperate nokia bluetooth which was fitted by previos owners son-in law so need to know of to find the control unit. Tried to clear nokia carkit by using the
small round button type control switch by holding down for ten seconds and it gives 3 flashes and is supposed to beep twice to clear passcode but only beeps once.
Any more info greatly appreciated

Hi,
As it was a DIY job I guess it could have been located anywhere!
Could you ask the previous owner to contact her son-in-law?
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
