Thanks for all your replies. I have bought a Yuasa HSB Silver with a 5 year guarantee on line from my local Halfords. Using my trade card it cost £105.99.

Yes I bought an 019 Yuasa from Halfords with the 5 year warranty. All good so far.

Within last 5 months replaced both batteries on the S tank, auxiliary battery on the SL, all Varta.

Hi, I gave Halfords my reg number and they said it was suitable. I,ve been busy today so I won’t pick it up till about 6 pm.

Neither was my 2004 e320 . But it had AGM , so did my 2008 CLS. You may well be correct though buddy
