C36 Switches????

Hi,can Anybody Tell Me What The Little Switch On The Right Rear Of The Centre Gear Change Console In My C36 Does Please,i Have Looked In The Manual But Nothing Refers To It,it Is Quite Small With A Picture Of A * On It

Hi,
Do you mean next to the electric door mirror switch? the one on the right hand side (drivers side) on my c230k and c43 it is for folding the door mirrors in. If it has a red led in it is either Parktronic or boot release they are normally on the left hand side (passenger side) of mirror switch. The Summer/Winter Auto gearbox switch is just to left of gearshift at the front of console panel.
Post a pic and then we can be sure.
