They should do that as part of the service buddy . But it would never hurt to mention it when you drop it off if it's going to bother you
they will probably only drop the oil and fit a new filter so 350 quid isn't cheap really
....

To put it into context when I put my details into that link my next service will be:

Somewhat of a p**s take on Air filters as they cost £65 to buy direct from Newcastle MB and take 10 mins to change
Even more of a bargain on air filters when they appear on the invoice, but upon checking the "new" filters, they appear decidedly "old"...!
At which point you have them over a barrel - Why not penetrate?

I agree, people who don't really know cars will always appreciate main dealer servicing. I did when I bought mine. I've learned a lot from this forum and now take all the 'recommended work' to MBS in Southampton but by having the basic service done with the main dealer, I preserve mobilo cover.
