Hi everyone, not been on for a while got a question with regards to the c43 amg. Putting the beast away for hibernation over the winter is it best to keep the battery charged over the winter or let the battery go dead. Will it hurt the car in any way if the battery dies for a long period of time. Not sure any advice will be great.:D

Most definetly keep the battery charged, you could leave it plugged into an Optimate, or Ceetek so called intelligent battery chargers that will not over charge your battery, and will maintain it in its optimum state.

Keep it charged...for the sake of the battery. A ctek is the recommended charger.

Also a good idea to give a run occasionally to keep things like the aircon system properly lubricated. The seals can dry out causing expensive problems. Even during the winter there are occasionally nice dry sunny days that perfect for a drive.
