Just treated the C43 to new tyres. New baby on the way, rears down to the depth indicators, fronts not much better = wallet time.
I went for Goodyear F1 GSD3's again for the total of £376 all round. Bit less than when I bought them last time round for the previous C43.
And they still look like Formula one wets
I asked the supplier, Wembley Tyres, why equivalent Michelins are £20-£30 more per corner and he said it was mainly down to all the advertising and sports promotion work that Michelin undetake. Same for Bridgestone.
So Goodyears it is then.
Had four way geometry check at the same time and found the rears were pointing left, the fronts to the right. Had that sorted for another £80.
Ready for the slippery roads between now and next spring
