MB say that new bolts should be fitted, some do some do not change them, the bolts that hold the caliper to the stub axle should at least have locking compound applied, the actual pins it depend in their condition, I seldom change them it they are a tight fit, the same with the sensor wires, if they have not been in contact with the disc and are in good condition then I do not replace those either, its up to you in the end

These bolts are supposed to be replaced but may be reused with locking compound on the threads, do not use "Copaslip" anywhere near these threads !!!.

if my memory serves me right the Mercedes benz brake calliper slides (guide pins) are held in place by two 10mm allen bolts. they will be sunken inside rubber sleeves and will be capped so you will need to remove the caps first which you do so by prising them out of the ends. make sure you replace the plastic caps otherwise you will end up with seized slides.

Malcolm, can you please put an exploded view piccy on here of the caliper and hub assembly fixings?

Cheers Dave
