I'm writing a feature on 4x4 owners for The Herald, Scotland's leading broadsheet. ( http://www.herald.co.uk )
4x4 owners have been getting a raw deal in the press lately.
The Mercedes M Class was recently described by one journalist as 'THE MOST HATED CAR IN BRITAIN'.
And broader stereotypes of 4x4 owners 'clogging up school runs' and 'churning up the countryside' persist from (jealous?) passers by.
Of course, there is also the environmental issue. 4x4 owners have been accused of gas-guzzling show-offs who pollute the environment when a more economical car would do the job just fine.
Now The Herald wants to speak to the people who haven't yet had their say - the owners.

Why do you love your car?
Are you made to feel guilty for owning it for no good reason?
Are there other drivers who deserve more criticism than you?
If you're really keen, we can feature you personally in the article (especially if you live in Scotland).
