Cam Shaft Adjusters Oil

We had a R170 SLK which had the oil in the can shaft adjuster cables so we fitted the adapters to the wires/Plugs. Do you still get this problem on the R171

Yes, to a certain extent, but any you buy now will have had it sorted most likely.

Hi Just fitted 2 new harness cables as they had not been added. There was a little oil in each plug. Where in the adjuster does it leak and am I being silly thinking that this could be cured on future adjusters?

Usually ends up at the lowest points in the harness. Typically lambda sensors.
