Ive got a c180 esprit the fan does not seem to
be cooling the car down i can stop it with my
fingers should i be able to do that if not how do i
replace it thanks for any help phil

DON'T PUT YOUR FINGERS IN THE FAN!. if it starts it will cut them off. Use a carrot for the test with the engine hot.

It sounds like the viscous coupling has gone u/s. Replacement is the only cure.
