Can anyone tell me what this is?

Hi everyone, bought my 2014 e220 few days ago, couple of things.. what is this connector in the boot by the aux battery,? Have looked online and can’t seem to find it anywhere, it was unplugged when I bought it, don’t have any faults or errors showing or anything,. Also passenger seat has no response from electric adjustment switch (mine are part powered so on side of seat ) any idea what could be causing this (fuses I found are ok)

Thanks, There’s an adblue tank, not sure if it’s deleted , so that plug unplugged may mean the advlue has been deleted you think?

Remapped and deleted possibly. If you reconnect it, you'll probably find the Engine Light on and and the dreaded 500 mile countdown to the engine not starting.

Hmm…. well it just went through a new mot ok, so not sure if I should just leave it.. if it’s a recent action I’d be more concerned but if it was done longer ago it should be ok to just leave maybe ?

By all means get it fixed, but be prepared to have your wallet emptied every year for as long as you own the car, or enjoy it the way it is now, thats what I'm doing with mine!

Had a 2013 coupe same engine a while back and from memory this one does feel a little ‘perkier’ maybe that’s it,.

Yeah think I’ll leave as is, 6 month warranty and my 300miles a week should show up any issues

I’ll get some bags and cable ties and cap it off a bit safer I think, don’t like all those connection pins exposed

You have to decide, do you want it working, if so go back to dealer. If you don't want adblue issues and you will get them. Leave it. However if its properly written out of ecm I can't see why it needs to be unplugged at all.

Yes, I’m guessing ‘just unplugging it’ would throw quite a few codes and there aren’t any so somethings been done, I’ll give them a call and try to find out,. I’m the meantime is there a software diag solution so I can look deeper ? I used to use inpa on my BMWs .

It will still give codes if left plugged in even after a remap, it's another ECU just for the adblue, that why they disconnect it.

Thanks so much everyone, so passenger seat electrics not working , any ideas on this? (Fuses ok) also aircap above windscreen not working , r(red light flashes on switch when initially activating )
