Congratulation on the new car, they are nice to have, some members have the ones that fit behind the bumpers.

The latest one is a speed camera detector as well and jams hand guns, and perfectly legal

Hi All

I am trying to install my parking sensor for my CLK 230 Kompressor Coupe 2001. It is already at the final stage. My problem is I am not so sure about which one is the reversing light and/or my reversing light might not be working. Please help.

Just slip the board out from the lamp and you can see what bulb uses the clear reversing lamp lenz, then just trace it back to the wiring, and you will see the colour of the wire.

The lamp only works with ign on and selector in R

I looked into aftermarket sensors whilst looking for my E class. I managed to find one with Parktronic in the end but I was quoted £1100 for the full mercedes kit as a retrofit from Tony Purslow in Guildford, I think they used these guys http://www.auto-technic.co.uk. I planned to keep mine for 4-5 years so I would have gone for the original kit as I've yet to see a retrofit sensor that looks as neat as the factory ones.
