ok then where do i look if i wanna find out how much my neighbours mecedes 200 is worth!! there must be someone out there who can help us!!! its such a classic! ?!? cheers blod.

mercedes 200. A reg. 150 miles. Service history - excellent - from new. Condition - excellent again!

Aug 1983 to July 1984 or 1963 depending upon where the 'A' is.

Have a look at the Vin No. the first 3 No.'s are the model designation.

An A reg 200 will be a 1983 200 E class model W123.
As for value, it will be anything from a packet of crisps to a few hundred. Unless it's concours, but I suspect with 155k on the clock, it isn't.
The 200 E class was the base model (cheapest Merc you could buy) at the time, a bit under powered, not particularly economical and being the 200, probably a low spec, so it's going to be hard to find anyone who'll see it as a classic.
Don't get me wrong, they were a fine motor, but I'd imagine most 'collectors' interestedin that era will be looking for high spec 280s, S classes, sl's and 2 door coupes.
