Can you turn off Service alerts 2009 SLK

Hi does anyone know how to turn off the Service alerts 2009 SLK. I have looked in the manual and it says how to bring up or cancel an alert, but not how to permanently turn it off. Is this possible?

2. Press the cluster illumination button (lower left of instrument panel) quickly 3 times. ...

Press the page button when it shows battery voltage and you will reach the service section.
