Hi, Does any one know how this works (Audi INVITATION ONLY Sales 2008).
BCA have this dealer only sale that I would like to have seen what was for sale and how much it went for.

I have used their Customer Services before and they were very helpful.

It is likely we have some forum members who purchased their Mercedes vehicles through the BCA. Maybe they will provide a direct answer.

we would all like to see what went for how much, but this is why its a dealer only sale.

My E240 came from one I believe but that was via the dealer. Its basically where the dealers get a lot of their stock, nearly new models from other dealers, MBUK fleet cars and ex lease cars for resale. As most of their trade ins aren't good enough to go on the forecourt and are jobbed out to traders , this is the only way they can stock up.

Clearly if we were able to buy from there, it would be chaos so its dealer only and we wouldn't get anywhere near.

I went to a Ford closed auction many years ago in Newcastle , bought a Ford Scorpio and a Sierra 4x4 estate , that shows how long ago.

Walked in and got one of the dealers to bid on our behalf , amazing what some peple will do for £100 a car

Dont agree with you that it would be " chaos " , a lot of people are unsure about auctions and need both a p ex and finance facility to change cars.

Bought a Lexus 400 many years ago at auction , one hours warranty !!!

The Lexus salesman rang back a few days later to be told that I had got fixed up , 6000 reasons to buy at auction he was told.

TRue, some do and some don't. I've bought several cars from the auction, some good, some bad, but the bottom line stands, without an 'in', a closed auction is precicely that, closed and they won't sell to you.
