Car Clocks - Adjusting the instrument clock

The analogue clock in the instrument cluster on my 1995 sl320 gains about three minutes every 9 days. It is a nuisance to have to keep keep resetting it. Is it possible to adjust the clock's timing so it is more accurate? If so how is it done? The same type of clock on my 1995 e280 is much more accurate. It loses about a minute every four months.
