Off on a tangent, but, talking about commutes, does anyone else get the same problems I get on the way to work, i.e. on two seperate occasions today - once early this morning, and again this afternoon, I overtook a single car (on both occasions,) which was driving at about 40 on a deristricted road, weather was slightly damp, but clear, road was well clear ahead, road markings were broken lines, visabilty clear, absolutely no problems, but, soon as I passed them on came the flashing headlights, horn tooting etc. - why:confused: what had I done wrong? overtook on a country road? is this not allowed anymore? even though you are driving a car (SLK 230k) which is more than capable of doing this safely-what is their problem? I find this is happening more and more often, is it because it's a mercedes? or because their is a lot of drivers who are so smug in their little "green" cars who don't realise the pure joy of driving a fast safe car which gives you the satisfaction of the drive itself - nothing to do with getting from point A to point B - their loss, (Rant over for today:rolleyes:)
