Hi, I'm new to the forum. I've got an SLK 230 1999 model and live in Scotland. I'm looking for the best outdoor cover for my car as I also have a 2005 C200 coupe gear shift I use as a daily car. I want to protect the SLK from the harsh Scottish weather. Any suggestions very welcome please.

I use StormForce covers and had no issues. Admittedly the cars are in a barn with the covers on them....

Never seen condensation in the winter ..i dont use the cover in the summer this cover is fully waterproof - November till March ,and there are thermal sheets under the cover . I take a look in on the cold days and i see nothing . And yes there is nothing better than a garage , but some of us dont have 2 garages and even if they did you wont get my car in one, today they are built too small . And a cover will stop water sitting in the nooks and crannys like in side the doors and around battery for week on end , and in my case the engine compartment . These Mercs dont have a gutter for the rain to tun down,, it drops down in to the engine compartment and out on to the floor . And yet they survive year after year . I use a rubber to fill the gap in the bonnet even in the summer you can just see it , it protects the vital water resting spots below . DSC06520.JPG

Thanks. I have never covered a car but have similar issues to yours. For my particular situation covering seems to be the best solution for now just wasn’t too sure about the condensation aspect....
Really helpful, so thank you again.
