Car Flooding help PLEASE !!!

Hi, I have a C250 td 98,had to go out during the torrential rain tonight,turned on the demister and fan turned right and rain water ran into the passenger footwell from under the dash and alot of it and kept on runnig in ! anyone heard of this before ? many thanks bailing out now !

water & electrics and a 10 year old car

how did the water get in the cabin on the car as i thought the cabin was almost water tight as when i slam my doors there is a pressure build up and the doors wont slam easily unless a window is open

Quick update took off panel water coming from fan housing anyone konw how to take it off and where the water may be coming in from ? cheers.

If you follow the instructions above to get the passenger side trim off, at the lowest point there is a drain hole that needs poking with a stick to clear it.
