Hello

You’ve probably seen threads with detailing, clay bar, microfiber, two bucket method, DA polisher etc, I have been busy prepping since last year and as from 1st May i have setup my part time polishing company.

www.autoreflectionz.co.uk

I am certainly getting quite busy & for some strange reason there seem to be lots of BMW's in black,

So I would like to see some more Mercedes that can put on the website, would anyone like their car to be detailed? or know of anyone locally that is willing?

Generally speaking it takes a whole day per car and lots of hard work, but well worth it :)

In between customers I am currently working on my 1998 w210 E class, which pictures will be uploded when finished.

Thanks

Hi.

Detailing as a rule of thumb entails the complete cleaning and polishing of as much of the car as possiblem paintwork, trim, windows, basically everything (within reason). ultimatley you bring your car up to showroom standards, as as i have found you can make car paintwork even shinier & smoother than new...

go to Mercedes showrooms and feel the paintwork on new cars with your fingers, how many spots of tar and dirt can you feel???

I have tried and it's a lot..

preparation is everything, get the paintwork clean then polish it, then seal or wax it.. or both.. the list goes on..

check out Zymol waxes - you can buy car wax that costs over £7000!!

Very impressive, I'd love to treat my car to this but I bet it costs more than I'm allowed to spend on a 'car wash' since I was only recently 'allowed' to buy a Karcher jet wash !

Hello,

Good luck with thw venture. I love cleaning our cars nothing better than looking back at your mint car after a good clean.

Have to say never 'detailed it' but I keep it clean.

I would let you practice on our two for your web site no probs....but I'm in Cheshire..

I'm planning on giving my ML a good clean while on holiday..Hate just sitting around so one evening thats my job :)
