Just started the car after 2 days sat on the road, half on the kerb and half off.

2014 E Class estate.

Got a yellow warning as attached.

Went off and not come back as yet.

Could this be due to being parked not level or more sinister?

Thanks.

Quite possible one of the rear airbags is developing a leak they generally leak intermittently from a tear in the bag depending on how the car is parked. If the air pump starts to work overtime lifting the car it may burn out so be aware

I'll get it looked at. I'm assuming the warning will appear again if there's a leak?

they leak the pump wears out... the level sensor snap the car sits on the floor...

in-between those events they wobble about, some days looking odd, sometimes looking saggy, but always driving badly

The fault may come back the bags can leak intermittently at first sometimes behaving themselves for days or weeks between deflating due to how the car is parked. Hope that’s not the case but that’s what generally happens unless as already said the level sensor was sticking

He said if there was a leak a fault with the compressor would've shown up.
You're probably right as your advice us always spot on.
I'm hoping you're wrong this time!!!

So am I.... MB seem to have batch problems with some model years normally you would expect the bags to last 15+ years - early 212 estates being a typical example 11 plate especially I’ve seen a lot of those on their haunches
