Hi all

I have an A250 E AMG (2024 plate). New to hybrids

I was doing a 90 mile journey on a depleted battery but with enough fuel. Car was in hybrid mode. I was using the sat nav

About 75 miles into my trip I had a warning saying it was switching to electric and then the turtle warning light came on

After a few more miles I had a red warning to stop the car immediately. Luckily I was able to pull over onto the hard shoulder. I had to wait a bit before I could start the car and continue in my journey

My question is why did the car decide to switch to the battery when it was on 0%? Should I have driven in a different mode? Or is there something wrong with the car that I should get looked at
