Previously when I've cleaned the underside of the car after the winter I've had to lie on the floor with the hose or put the car on wheel ramps and lie in the water .
Neither is ideal . Has anyone made up a tool or bourght one that gets the job done easily ?
Something that fits to a Karcher would be good .
Been wondering about using an upside down karcher patio cleaner to push under there ?

The car washes use a large squared off "U" in 1" galv steel pipe with multiple fan nozzles

You could knock something up quite easily with an adaptor for your pressure washer then sit it on the drive and drive over it :)
Very interesting buddy , there is one right next to my local MB dealer . Although it's raining so much here at the moment I could with the help of a couple of "big lads" just roll the car over.

i used to take mine in summer to a car wash that had a raised ramp on my nearest trading estate , get all crud off then leave a week to dry at home ,blow off with compressor and waxoil as where required , under covers off first ,tho they were not so much of an issue 10 yr ago.

This is the one on Prime - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Karcher-Vario-Power-Short-2-643/dp/B00HF2XNC8/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=karcher+vario+power&qid=1556951145&s=gateway&sr=8-3&th=1

Not sure why they make one for the K4 and another for K5-K7, the attachments are the same!!
Thanks Andy, for some reason I struggle to copy Amazon links on my iPhone!
I wonder if the internals are stronger in the other model to cope with higher flow velocity?
Only thing on these compared to the unit which seems to be discontinued is that you’ll need the extension Lance as well to push under the car fully, handily though it’s listed further down your link!
I’m kicking myself now as I saw the B&Q were selling the other model at £18 in some stores before it was discontinued!

No worries John, another reason I wanted another Karcher, I already have the extension arm. Yes, you're probably right, tougher for the bigger unite.
I'm kicking myself because I could have saved £30 by using the Karcher outlet store

Looks OK for the arches, but it could be tight.

My pressure washer is around 15 years old, and still powerful, so I have no need or desire to change it.
With difficulty, using a pipe bender, I've put a 45 degree bend at the end of the wand, which helps with wheel arches as well as the underside of the car.

The only downside is the kick-back on the wand every time I pull the trigger.
Brings to mind the lessons learned a lifetime ago: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction!
