Any idea why my car "wiggles" over every pothole, bump, drain etc. From around 30mph on wards. Fairly new tyres.

Incorrect tyre pressures?
Uneven tyre pressure (different tyre pressure on same axle)
Suspension bushes worn?
Steering bushes worn?

Agree with the top, add wheel alignment to the list front and rear ;)

How big are the wheels / tyres?
How cold is the road surface?

More scarily (this happened to me!)- have you checked the tightness of your wheel bolts?

Don't know why I didn't check my pressure as I usually do. Was significantly low. Now seems fine and also straightened my steering wheel.

Thanks all.

Tyre pressure every couple of weeks check.
Lets one note if there are any leaks, untoward pressure drops.

Update: even though my tyre pressures are correct now, seems to still "wiggle". Was only able to tell as I drove at faster speeds.

Have you checked your wheel bolts?

Does your car have a staggered wheel set-up ie wider wheels on the back if so check that you have the narrower section wheels on the front, they do and can get mixed up

Tyres mounted the wrong way? They usually have an Outside edge clearly marked.
