Car will run on petrol but not on lpg

1998 e200 Hi has anyone had problems with the throttle sensor and what were the symptoms please. My car will start perfectly but wont rev and cuts out the minute you touch the accelerator.
Once warmed up on tick over and switched over to lpg runs perfectly.

Have you had the car seviced as ive had this problem and a full service sorted it out

Our workshop specialises in RR & Bentley,& we have a couple Turbos on gas that developed similar faults.Gas experts have looked at them & found no faults,recommending decokes instead-not surprisingly the customers have learnt to live with it!

sounds like cold weather,does it start ok on lpg then dies after 1/2 mile? if it does pop open the bonnet and see if the lpg regulator is iced up, because the mercs have a pump for the climate control this sucks all the hot water into the cabin and none goes to the lpg regulator, I found when the weather is below 5 degree you have to run it on petrol for the first 2 miles or turn the heating off for a bit.

IVE SEEN THESE SYMPTOMS ON LPG CARS BEFORE, TURNED OUT EVERY TIME TO BE AIRMASS FAULTY, USE A GENUINE OR BOSCH ONE,
