Carrying a bike in a 2016 E Class Estate

I currently have a 2016 220D C Class estate which I am very pleased with. The only problem is that I have to take the front wheel off my 29er e bike to fit it in. My normal road bike fits in without having to remove the front wheel. Because of this I am thinking of getting a 2015/2016 E Class estate instead. Will a 29er e bike fit in without having to remove the front wheel ? Thanks for any replies

Hello and welcome

The E-Class estate is about as large a vehicle as you can get. I’d go and try one with your bike (take some sheets or the vendor my not be so keen…)

I quite often ship bikes around without dismantling in my E class estate, not sure about the specific model you mention but don’t expect you’ll have a problem adult bikes I’ve loaded have gone in with plenty of room to spare

I can fit my Specialized Levo in my E Class estate in one piece, but I usually take the wheels off because then I don't have to take the load cover out. And also its heavy to drag in and out of the car.

If I tryin to measure up inside my car for a pushbike or lecky bike. I would be thinking I bought the wrong car!!!
