I have a catch of air in the circuit of the gas oil in my W202 C250 TD, the bubbles of air in this pipe below in pecture between the filter of gas oil and the injection pump.
I can't see the picture, it doesn't load on my machine for some reason; but, typically, you need to replace all the O ring seals in the low pressure fuel pipes, including the one behind the shut-off valve on the injector pump. Also, take care that the prefilter is properly sealed.
If you've not already done so, take the opportunity to renew any of the plastic clips for the injector pipes which may have broken - the clips cost pennies, but the pipes are about £30 each, and fracture and leak if they're allowed to waggle about for too long.
