I,ll be fitting my Jehnert speakers and front door builds, because the Jehnert speakers are 2 ohm I,m gonna have to go through an amplifier.
The standard MB Audio 10 CD Radio has no RCA outputs. I have got a box which will convert 2 speaker outputs out of the stereo to RCA but I have been told that though this will work I would get better results (better quality and stable signal voltage or something like that) if the stereo had an RCA just wondered wether I should be looking at replacing the stereo with an RCA output, If so is there a stereo out there that can utilise the Original CD changer I know the CD Changer is more than likely a Becker or Alpine, having a Alpine stereo and Changer in the other car I know that its not fibre optic.
Has anybody got any ideas?

Hi,

To be frank, you are far better off ditching the Audio 10 and the CD player and putting in something like a complete Alpine system.

I went down near enough the same route and things started to get complicated, so rather than messing around trying to adapt systems, wiring etc I got an aftermarket alpine system with matching CD player from ebay for a great price and plumbed it in. The job was an absolute doddle.

To be honest, the aftermarket systems are far far better than the Audio 10 systems.

I know folks try to keep the car as original as possible, but the sound quality of the audio 10 is poor.
