Evening all,

The CD holder in my CD changer doesnt pop up when I press the little eject button.

Is there any way I can get it out as I have six cd's in it that I want to listen to!

Also, the display on the stereo says NO CD when actually the changer is plugged in.

Any help gladly received

T212 facelift, 2013. A few toys including pan roof, 19" rims, Harmon Kardon, nappa, privacy glass.
I don't really know, but have you tried pushing it in a little and then ejecting, Does it make any noise at all or is it dead ? May make bugger all difference, but you never know.

Hopefully someone will provide you with some proper technical advice.

Pull the fuses for the sound system and replace them, it may wake up and come to life

Hi,
Exactly the same problem in my new car there was power to the changer and it was making all the right noises but still was,nt ejecting it.
I removed the changer and took it apart it turned out to be jammed disc and disc tray half in half out if you take it apart you can manually wind the disc and tray in and eject the magazine by one of the mechanisms drive wheels just make sure you power the changer up without the magazine in to allow the mechanism to reset it self.
Hope this has helped.

I have had the same problem twice in the last year or so. I dismantled the cd changer and manually ejected the cartridge by moving the meachanism. I felt that the mechanism had dried out. I lubed the mechanism with some silicone grease and the cd changer is working ok now. My cd changer is mounted vertically in the boot (w210 E200K).

Thanks for the help, I am getting power to it but I think that taking it apart might be the best option.

I will let you know how I get on.

Thanks again

Afternoon all,

I took it apart and lubricated the mechanism which is now working fine and ejects every time but now the display on the player itself says 'NO CD' has anybody else experienced this?

Thanks
