Most original MB radio units are made by Becker. Early head units such as the MB "special" radio-cassette require a hard-wired (chunky cable with audio signals, control signal and power) CD changer. Later models used a fibre-optic data bus (D2B). Check your head unit first and then look for the appropriate changer. Also check whether your car is pre-wired. Even if you don't buy from an MB dealer, they should be able to look up the details for your car and advise you on what you require.
