Hi

I know this is going to sound daft, but Where on the 500/60's would you normally put a CD player.I mean Iv'e seen ad's where it states that they are in "standard trim",with all the goodies inc them,so can anyone tell me where would be the ideal place for one (away from prying eyes) especialy when the boot is opened.
I had thought of under the wood that covers the spare wheel??.

Regards

How about your centre console ( do older mersc have those? ) or poss your glove box .. Having to go to the boot becomes annyoing in the rain .. SOny do a nice little MD changer , its tiny and would take up hardly any space .

Hi Fuzzer

I should have said CD changer sorry, (y'see Iv'e allready took it out my last car),when I read about you saying my c/console I thought "ah!he thinks Iv'e got the CD player, and not the changer",I dont have another "space" on the console for anything, the radio thats it.
The glove box is possible, but the "box" in the Merc (the 500's anyway) is the smallest Iv'e seen in a car!,even my Astra had a "box" double the size, well nearly!.
I dont think it'll go under the seat (drivers/passenger),cause' of all the air ducks ect,but I'll have a look!,thats why I thought it'll have to go in the boot somewhere/how,I'll see how things go.

Regards

Usually they are in the boot right up against the side, that the best place for them, and they usually belnd in well with the black / grey carpet
