I have a ML320 (2000) and the central locking doesn't seem to work on the drivers door.
When I use the key fob to lock the doors, all the doors lock (except the drivers door), then the doors unlock, then they all lock again (except the drivers door). I need to manually lock the drivers door with the key.
Any ideas??
I thought it might have something to do with the door cover inside the car. I had noticed once that this behaviour caused the door not to centrally lock as the internal cover on the door had come loose (those small plastic things had come unhooked). I pushed these in and it seemed to resolve the issue, but this time I have made sure that all the plastic locking pins are pushed home and the inside door cover is definately on correctly. There is one broken plastic pin but I'm really not sure this little plastic locking pin can make so much of a difference!
