Central locking on 2000 Merc ML

Hi,

I seem to have developed a problem with the central locking on my 2000 ML. Basically when you lock the car all the locks go down, then the drivers door lock flies up and down rapidly on it's own a couple of times then stays unlocked. The alarm still sets but obviuosly goes off if the door is opened.

The other problem this creates is that when you are driving along and come to a stop then pull away the central locking starts going mad because of the auot locking mechanism!!

Can anyone help???

You need a new lock/latch.

£97 from mb, 15 min job to replace!

Thanks, would this be the lock barrel or the latch in the door?
