Central locking on w124

Hi, I would be very grateful if someone can help. I have a '91 300TE 24v and the central locking is not working. I replaced the blown fuse and it worked again although the boot closure sounded very lazy. After 5-6 closes fuse blew again. Any ideas

You might want to dig out the pump, it's probably sitting in pool of water. It should be under the rear seat, starboard side, I think.
