Hi all,
W202 1994 c180 (automatic) would not start (immobilised). I realised it was the central locking, it was not working but opened each door plus boot individually. I assumed because of this the immobliser was still activated. I checked the fuse, cleaned the points, all OK. I put it back and the central locking was back working properly. I was a bad wet night so I am putting the problem down to moisture.
Getting to my question now, when the car was immoblised I could not get it to move from the "P" to "N" to move it out of the way ( i was at a petrol pump) even with the key in ignition at the correct posisition 2 which should have allowed me to do so.
If this happens again, is there any way I can by pass it?
