central locking pump 1995 E320

I have just bought a new central locking pump (dont ask how much) for my 124.Part number 124 800 21 48. However it was not supplied with the 6 way adaptor/connector block. I cannot separate the connector block from the old pump and dont want to pull too hard. Anyone got any bright ideas how to separate these 2 pieces?
