Hello everyone.
My Central Locking System failed 2 days ago. I am able to unlock my Merc' via skeleton key or by placing the key fob right up to the key door.
I noticed that the yellow left/right alarm arrows were flashing on the dashboard the first time the Central Locking failed, the audio alarm did not sound.
I have deciphered that Fuse #8 had blown. Subsequent attempts to replace with new fuses (7.5 AMP) fails as the Fuses blow at point of insertion to the fuse box.
I understand it could be a] the alarm unit failing, or b] the Antenna unit failing.
Any guidance would be very much appreciated.
