centre consol switches - not seen them before

I've been looking at w124s with a view to buying, one photo advert I saw features two swiches at the far front of the centre consol area. I've not seen them on other models pix I've seen online. Can anyone enlighten me as to what they do?

aye definatly heated seats , has two options , normal heat and fast heat , i have them in mine and look forward to using them in winter
