With the purchase of my new car I'm wondering whether I should have it ceramic coated or covered in PPF?
I tend to keep my cars for a while and use them mostly on fast roads or the motorway.
I notice on my old car that it has gained a few stone chips on the bonnet and in front of the rear wheel arch where the bodywork juts out.
I've never used ceramic coatings nor PPF. I suspect that PPF is more expensive than ceramic coating but may be more suitable for my needs.
What are the pitfalls of either system?
