Hi all
I own a 1994 C180 elegance and want to change the cloth trim to leather.
I have seen full leather trim for sale with electric front seats. My question is can I get these working? (the cloth are obviously not electric) I doubt it will be a case of just plug them into the loom!

Thanks
J

you would need to get the loom from a breaker ideally and then wire that in to your car it shouldnt be that difficult but you will also need all the door switches for the seat movement.
alternatively if you can live with the keep fit seats you have then fit the leather to your excisting seats.

Thanks supercharger.
What your saying is I could re trim my cloth seats with the leather. Might be easier than re wire.

did my c220 cdi estate
made a mustard job. start to finish in a day. turned it into a different car.

the leather came as a kit --all seat covers, head rests, and door panels

I can offer a full factory leather retro fit for you. Indestinguishable from how it would have been from the factory.

If you would like to PM me the exact colour of the interior, with chassis number and whether you want seats and/or door trims also, I can give you a competitive quote.

The fitter I use does leather trimming on SLR's and Mercedes from the early 60's right through to the present day using genuine Mercedes leathers.

Thanks for the info
I heard about a set of black for approx £250 so guessed that would be the cheapest option considering the age and value of the car. I'll have to see how easy the re trim from old leather seats would be.
Thanks again
