I recently changed my crankshaft position since my wife's car is a CLS 500 from 2006 and it died leaving the parking lot of Walmart I guess as she pressed the gas however the symptoms of repairing it led to the crankshaft position sensor I changed the crankshaft positions are in still no start I'm getting secondary air system code and a code about the throttle position like the pedal is to or out of adjustment help please I need to get the car started it will start if I spray starter fluid in it but won't stay running

Did the CPS come out easily or did you have to dig it out with a sharp object?

The reason I ask is I had a car once that was flagging a CPS issue and the garage previously had fitted 3 sensors. What had happened was that the original sensor had jammed and they used all manner of objects to get the sensor out but had damaged the pick up on the flywheel in doing so.

Either that or you have no fuel pressure....
