I'm thinking of doing this myself on an OSF wing wing which has rust in the front section.Looking at the EPC it seems to bolt straight on. Do I need to remove the front bumper first ?
Euro car parts have pattern wings for £24........

Might not fit exactly.
I have just been looking at one which has been fitted. The shut line in front of the door isn't in line. You still have to pay for spraying, which is the expensive bit.

Mine is pre-facelift, but if yours is similar, no need to remove bumper, and it's quite straightforward if you use a modicum of common sense. Have a set of spare nylon clips for the plastic panel just in case, but remember this panel does not just pull off, it slides off forwards. I fitted an aftermarket wing at a similar price about 18 months ago and had no problem with the fit, just a rather sharp point right at the front above the indicator unit which I had to grind down a touch.
Before starting, remove the wheel arch liner and get plenty of penetrating oil on the fixing bolts and leave a while to do its work.
As Silver Arrow states, the finishing is the expensive part, but it is possible to prepare and finish the new wing 'on the bench' so to speak, but then will require very much more time and care to refit for very obvious reasons.
Once fitted and finished, plenty of 'Waxoyl' on the underside before replacing the liner.
Take your time and good luck, Tom.
