Changing a main beam bulb on a W211

Hello,

My nearside main beam bulb has gone. The car is an avantgarde so that's bi xenon's. How do I do it and where is the best place to get a bulb please (I live in Birmingham)? Will it match the other side exactly (in terms of light colour)?

Can't help you with how to change it, but if you want somewhere in Brum, try KMS Parts (http://www.kmsparts.com/views_search.asp). They are just round the back of Digbeth off Camp Hill. They do a range of OEM and third party stuff, normally at reasonable prices. Barring that, a quick search on the web should also turn up some good prices, though sometimes the p&p wipes out the saving.
