Changing Battery

I want to change the battery on my C200, year 2000, early model. Can I just disconnect the old battery & put the new one in, or will the electronics need resetting? The radio doesn't have a code.

There are plenty of posts to do with this,..

But basically yes, and what systems, kinda depends on the car but id say certaintly

Power steering position sensor - that is reset by turning the steering Lock to lock, on my w203 you only need do this once, but some people suggest doing it 3 times..its reccomended to do this whilst rolling the car slowly instead of at a standstill to avoid stress etc..

and the electric windows, hold switch until windows goto the bottom, and hold the switch for 0.5secs on my w203 (again some people say hold it in for 10seconds) and then hold it up and once closed hold again for the time delay)
