How easy is it to get into this to change the light bulb, the bulb on the LH side (where indicated) has blown, its the one that comes on when the doors are open, the smaller bulb in the right panel is OK

The cover on top of the bulb is usually a clip on, try to use a flat screw driver to unclip and release the cover.

Smart + others :)
No, you have to remove complete lamp to change bulb, there are 2 small spring clips that needto be pushed in under black edging, cant remember which side there on tho.

Thats what I thought when I sat in the car, but I was nervous to try too hard,,the car is in super condition, I seem to recollect that you slide it to one side to release the clips

Thanks for all the replies (and ALL yours Malcolm!!!), yes,I had to push 2 metal clips on the RH side to release, then unclip the plastic section that houses both bulbs, its was easy then to remove the blown bulb. :D:D Would take pics but still trying to master the digital camera :(
