I have an 08 S320CDI, which I intend to regularly use abroad.
My local Mercedes independent showed me how to change lights over to RH drive setting on my previous E class, but say they can't show me how to do same on the S320CDI.
Does anyone know how to do this, or where I can get info.
It's a pain having to take car into a garage before and after every trip!

From your owner's handbook ---

"Symmetrical dipped beam
If your journey takes you to countries where vehicles are driven on the opposite side of the road to the country in which the vehicle is registered, your headlamps must be switched to symmetrical dipped beam. Oncoming traffic will be dazzled less.

Have the headlamps switched over at a qualified specialist workshop, e. g. a Mercedes-Benz Service Centre."

I imagine you have bixenons? These really should be adjusted by the dealer (v. high voltages) There is a lever next to the bulb that places a shield in front of the bulb. The exact position is dependant on the manufacturer of the unit.

Some very late models can only be adjusted by STAR

Bit cr@p I know but if it is a Star £££ job then I'd get the stick-ons from Halfrauds myself.

With an '08 plate I wouldn't be suprised if the dealer did the adjustment free. Especially if they sold the car...

You would hope so but this is MB we're talking about. A right pain too if the dealer isn't close by.

Thanks to all for the replies. Nearest 'Local' dealer is 20 miles away, so I tend to use an independent, who was happy to show me how to swop lights on my E class, but who says I can't do same on the S class, with bog-standard lights, as it's too difficult. The car was sourced from MB of Milton Keyes, who were very helpful, and probably would change the lights once or twice, but I need it done more often, and they are 35 miles away.
Query to Coxyhog - do MB really supply stick-ons? - might be a bit crap, but easy!
I didn't think to try Halfords, as they don't even have spare bulbs listed for the current S class.
