changing out my standard stereo

Could someone please advise me what my options are to replace my stereo to keep functionality reasonable cd player for a reasonable price.

One of our members miffy fitted a double din unit to his car complete with navigation

well the head unit is becoming tempermental,the 10 head changer stopped working so what is a double din unit?

A double DIN is a unit twice the height with navigation screen, I can PM miffy so that he see this post

I have a double din system with steering controls working, but its not cheap. the OP says "reasonable price" so if there is a tight budget, then mine will not be the solution.

but, what I have is a Kenwood DNX 7420BT and steering controls adapter. fits straight in with just the addition of a single wire (switched live)
