Still undecided on my early retirement present to myself so I thought I'd check to the insurance quotes on a couple of shortlisted options.
Golf GTI Mk 7 performance pack with DSG - £133, Excess 400 with Saga.
BMW M135i with performance exhaust and LSD (declared) - £148, Excess 450 with Admiral.
Couldn't believe how cheap the quotes were especially for the BMW with 320 bhp and with performance mods.
Still torn between these 2 cars - both great drives.
