Hi Everyone..
I have an E220 2016..
I have just had the Check Brake Pad Warning come up in the display..does anyone know whether this relates to the front or rear pads .? Or is it a case of physically checking both ?
Also on purchasing replacements will they come supplied with new sensors or do I need to purchase them
Many thanks
Mark

You will need to check front or rear.

You will need to buy a new wear sensor as well

Just peering through the wheels may give an indication of pad depth as to if it’s front or rear . Before any wheel removing

Most likely front but always worth a check of all

Will I need to buy 4 sensors ..1 for each wheel ?
No , just one sensor front and one back on my cars . I thought you were only changing rear or front brakes , not both ?

I spoke to the garage that just serviced my car and they put advisory that both front and rear discs were worn ,but , the pads were ok ..so now this sensor has come on I just as well do the lot ..
I’m getting front and rear all in Brembo pads ,discs and sensors . I have used these before and was really impressed.. I would say they are easily on a par with Pagid ..only a tad cheaper..
